Wow. That was beautiful. Very poetic. Wonderful job! There was much feeling, and I almost felt as though I was there in the library in Imladris with Estel and Erestor at the begining.

RL knocked me away from fanfic during the time you published this, but I'm glad I found it now. What a beautiful piece. It's always been fascinating to me, the juxtaposition of Aragorn's hands as warrior and healer, and you touched on all the facets. That last section especially I found very moving! I hope you're doing well in whatever endeavors you have going--and I hope you stop by the fandom now and then with another gem like this. *hugs*

Cal! *flails*

Okay, I'm back. ;) Thank you for sharing this gorgeous little story with us. I loved it--loved all the different emotions and symbolism tied into that simple hands motif. I loved how that conversation with Erestor in the first part sets the stage for all the subsequent scenes. I think the second part was my favorite because of the fragmented nature of the imagery--that really drives home the shock he's feeling. The dying Dunadan in the third part broke me a little. He comes across so vividly despite having so few details about him--not even a name. And resolute Aragorn at the end is wonderful.

Not gonna lie: I hope a couple more fics sneak up on you. If you ever feel like returning, we'd be happy to have you back.

all the best,
-Brennan

Author Reply: *flails back at* I think all the replies to LJ made me realise I missed this quite a bit. Friday night was my down time, so I decided to see if I could do it.

Hands are one of my favourite things about people. I love drawing them, using them in stories, and finally I could figure out a way to put it all together into a united theme and pull this out from the crevices of my mind.

I'm hoping more fics can sneak on me! Thank you so much for heading! ♥

lovely, awesome, heartbreaking. Like this little stories very much. Even if you do not want to hear it: I liked your stories very much and I´m very sad that you are no longer writing. You had a unique way of telling. Anyway these stories are amazing. Thank you for sharing. Lai

Author Reply: Well, I technically didn't say I'm no longer writing; only that I write less these days for various reasons.

However barring my lack of writing, I'm glad to hear you like my work :) Thank you!
