| Love this explanation of Thorin's less then charitable mood when he arrived at Bag End. First getting lost, then running into Lobelia, and then having Holman talking non-stop about hobbit genealogy that he could not possibly have any interest in. No wonder he is so grumpy when he arrives at Bag End. |

Except that Otho should have been seen by her as Bilbo's heir as Lotho was still not born yet (he was only a few years older than Frodo, after all, and Frodo was born about twenty years later), this sounds just like Lobelia. Love the characterization of Holman, too. Delightful!
