Awww such a sweet story. Aragorn was so good to his people. I loved seeing his interaction with Miriel. *grin*

(Yes, I was indeed one of your readers from way back in 2004. I feel a little special that you remember me at all. I hope you have a Merry Christmas.)

This was especially good from Aragorn's revelation of himself onward. He was a great king and loved his people well.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

This was wonderfully sweet without being in the least saccharine, and very, very enjoyable!

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Miriel gets home...

As great aš this story was, it was the part you left up to our imagination that really put a smile on my face. Thank you for this story, I really enjoyed it!

LOL, out of the mouth of babes. Miriel's poor parents, unfortunately I too can recall a time or two when my child parroted some thing I said and just like her parents it usually left me mortified ***sighs***

Thank you for the charming story Linda and Happy Christmas to you.

Oh no, Linda, you can't leave it there! I want to see Míriel's parents when the KING shows up at their door. LOL! Please consider writing 'chapter two' of this delightful ficlet.

I would love to see the faces of her parents when they have their private audience with the king. Thanks for a lovey story.

Ah, been a time since I read this. Poor Miriel, learning the door to her retreat will be sealed, although she does now have excellent prospects for her future! And a better one to find there could not be encountered than the King himself!

Author Reply: Many thanks or your much appreciated review. I thought it was time I posted some BTME stories elsewhere.I think Miriel will be able to visit the garden sometimes and her future will be happy.

That last line was so very...perfect! I burst out laughing and both of my dogs looked at me like I had lost my mind...

Today has been a day filled with sad news for me, so this little tale is exactly what I needed tonight! Thank you!

What a delight! I'm disappointed that there's only one chapter; might you continue it in the future? I'd love to read more.
