Back to Middle Earth BINGO  by Dreamflower 3 Review(s)

I loved the reluctance to let the stone go by Bard and the amazement at Bilbo.

Author Reply: Re-reading the chapter as I worked on this, Bard did seem very drawn to the Stone, and he was rather gruff with Bilbo on his first approach. I liked showing him as he re-thought his first impression.

I so love this, Dreamflower. But I love seeing anyone appreciating the true worth of Bilbo, Frodo, or about any Hobbit one might mention.

Author Reply: So do I. It's fun to see the Big Folk reassessing their first impression of this seemingly timid little people and realizing just how "tough in the fibre" they really are.

Truly Bilbo was remarkable.

As for the Arkenstone ... Thrain's tomb was the best place for it.

Author Reply: He was indeed a most remarkable hobbit.

And as for the Arkenstone: I agree.
