| This is surely a part of Dreamflower's story that I don't remember. Skipping to the last page is a wonderful tactic. I think I'll have to start doing that. Best lines: "What if she doesn’t like what I draw?” “That’s why we’re using a slate." “In the meantime, I’ll just make a note for ‘more mushrooms’ since you really cannot go wrong with that.” “All right. Write ‘steal receipts from Frodo’ on the list.” “And if anyone gets an upset stomach?” “Oh, see, that’s the best part! I’ll be married to a healer!” Author Reply: Thank you for the review, eiluj! Probably my favorite response to this fic when it was first published was Dreamflower's, saying that it was now part of her "headcanon." I'm so pleased that you agree with her assessment! Thanks for the quotebacks, too. I haven't skipped to the last page in real life yet, but that's only because (unlike Merry) I don't even have a clue yet where it's going. | |
