Heartwarming story ! I love how Aragorn and Ragnor interakt and they are both so gentle.Im sure Ragnor was a fantastic healer too.Your stories are like balm on a stressed person. I have recently had some hard times in my private life and at work. But reading is a favourite stressreliever of mine.Indeed your stories lightens the burdens in my soul and ease the pain somewhat while Im reading!❤️😀

*Grin* That was heart-warming. I loved the flash-forward and how Aragorn came back to remember his old friend. I also loved the line "Now he realised, saving lives was more satisfying than taking them." Perfect. I really enjoyed this story because it develops the healer persona of the king, which, arguably, may be more important than the warrior. I like to think the duality is what makes King Elessar unique. I'll continue exploring your stories!

Ah--wonderful that they share this memory, and that Ragnor finally realized who his Captain and patient was meant to be. And that Elessar remembered him and sought him out--exactly what I'd expect from the King Returned!

Loved this when I read it at Teitho. But I like this new and improved one much better.

And of course, the ending is perfect!

It's great to see Aragorn as king, when all his wishes have come true. Trust him to remember Ragnor, and be grateful to him. That's one of the reasons he is such a great king.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I'm pleased you liked the way the story ended and felt it true to Aragorn.

our dear ranger can count himself lucky for having such faithful man/friends, but it´s not really surprising for the amazing character he is. Thank you for such a wonderful story. Your Aragorn is always so believable and lovable. Just the way I imagine him. Thank you. Lai

This is absolutely beautiful, Linda. It captured me from the very first sentence and I read this "in one breath", as we say in Croatian. I especially love the very end - their meeting. So wonderful.
