A delightful turning of the phrase as well as look at these two after a most uncomfortable night!

I so love reading other people's ideas on what Folco was like and why he remained behind! Yes, he in his way did his part in seeing to it that the Shire he and Frodo both loved continued. Yes!

Author Reply: Celeritas challenged me to write it in a drabbling meme. I'd never given more than a vague thought to Folco before. I had fun thinking about it, though. :-)

I find myself feeling for the poor snake, the target of Sam's anxieties!

Author Reply: Haha! I have nothing against snakes...but I sympathize with Sam. :-D

No, not truly healed, and more and more he finds himself caught in the memories. At least now Sam is by his side to draw him back into the present--for now, that is.

Love the imagery.

I love this for it shows what the Ring was but also was Sam was. Wholeness was not to come until one left his heart and soul for good and reunion with the one who had never left.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
