Another wonderful story! We all have our vocations and this is a grand tale of Cirdan's faithful service and how much we owe to him. I love that the ship that would bear such precious (no pun intended) beings was in the making for so very long.

| Tolkien often contradicted himself, and left so many things open to interpretation it is no wonder we fanfic writers can each write of the same event and yet come up with completely different versions of what did or might have happened. Thanks for your interpretation! |

| Such a thoughtful and poignant story. I tried to capture just a hint of Cirdan's nature in an early story of mine, "Sing Me Home", and very much enjoyed this beautiful tale of his long, patient labors and humble service. |
