| Really, this is such an interesting vignette, well-done and thought-provoking. It had never, honestly, occurred to me that Arwen and Aragorn would see Time and its passing so differently - but of course it must be so. Thank you for giving me a thought-inspiring tale! | Really a first-rate exploration of the differences between Eldar and Edain. The differences in perspective of time must be huge between the two races; and Arwen has gone from one to the other; and yet can't change her original mindset entirely. You show her Elven self battling with her newer, mortal self; and give her strength in her ability to adapt as well as constancy. An unusual and well-written story! Author Reply: Thank you! | A most thoughtful and perceptive vignette. The different perceptions of time which mortals and elves have rang very true. Author Reply: Thank you. There are bound to be huge differences in the perception of time, and Arwen would undergo quite a change in that respect. | |

| What a wonderful examination of the differences immortality (or near immortality) must make to the perception of time! Truly, Arwen has a unique persepective, for she has experienced it both as Elves do, and as Men do. She is the only person in the Fourth Age who can actually compare those different states of mind. The way you can show that even after twelve years the passage of time still fills her with wonder and amazement shows just *how* much of an adjustment it must have been! Beautifully done!
