Memories in the storm  by Ellynn 3 Review(s)
AntaneReviewed Chapter: Prologue on 6/13/2010
What a sweet story full of love and hope! Love Faramir's memories of his brother and that special night and his joy at becoming a father and the joy of the others that he has and also that he will make sure his son knows of his grandfather also, a sign that he had forgiven him. *hugs him*

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: I really believe that Faramir does not resent his father (although Denethor hasn't always treated him right); his heart is too big and generous and noble for being bitter.
Thank you so much for your review.

LarnerReviewed Chapter: Prologue on 6/12/2010
A warm celebration of life and its loves, and how the latter remain through all. Lovely, Ellyn.

Author Reply: I am glad you like it, Larner. Though I've writen angst from time to time, I am more to this kind of story - optimistic and full of life and love. I really enjoyed writing this. :)
Thank you for your review.

What a beautiful, beautiful story. I especially love the description of the soul, and the love between brother and brother... father and son... and Faramir and his dearest friends.

Author Reply: Thank you! I tried to see things through the eyes of 11-year-old boy and I'm glad if I succeeded. The second part of the story - Faramir's memories of his family and relationship with friends - were easier to describe.
Thanks for your kind words, I am so glad you like the story. :)
