Im so happy for Maglor and his family! He truly deserves some peace. And finally he was able to have children of his own:) ! I have not read much about " the old elves" from Feanors time and its interesting to have some insight on their lives how it could be. Its also amazing how you managed to weave our age and our inventions into the old world of Aman and the Straight road opening. Somehow it felt like a more hopeful world even though "our "time on Arda isnt exactly perfect with Wars, injustice, racialissues, famine etc. Low bows to you story!

Author Reply: Thank you so much! I'm thrilled you read this despite not having read many stories focusing on the Silm Elves. I adore Elves-in-present-day fic, and it also made sense that Maglor (and/or the Valar think he) wouldn't be ready to return to Aman before then. I also have a hard time believing the Elves would stagnate, hence the technology. Hopeful was exactly the mood I aimed for. Again, thank you!

I read this all in one day! I was so glad to see Makalaurė have his happy ending. I truly think he deserved it even if the journey was difficult. I look forward to reading more of your work...I believe you mentioned some prequels to this work. Thank you for sharing this unique and entertaining story!

Author Reply: Wow! That's awesome! He definitely deserves it. Thank you so much!

As for prequels, there are a few posted here (Embers, Every Wish, and Never Look Back), but most of them are found on SWG: http://www.silmarillionwritersguild.org/archive/home/viewseries.php?seriesid=65 (the link is to the series). SWG's my primary posting platform; I usually don't post my Tolkien fic anywhere else these days.

Again, thank you and if you read my other stories, I hope you enjoy them.

That was beautiful. I took my time reading, so I could savour it. Maglor is my favorite character, and you did an awesome job with him.

Author Reply: Thank you so much! I'm thrilled you enjoyed it, and ecstatic that you think I did an awesome job with him.

Its Lent and Eastertide as I've read this, a perfect time to read a very well done story about forgiveness. thank you. I look forward to more about Maglor's adventures in redemption.

Author Reply: I'm glad you enjoyed it!

At this time, I have no plans to write sequels to RAFA. All further stories in this 'verse will be set prior to it.

I I just wanted to say how much I love your story, it was really well written and I looked forward to finding new chapters to read. I can not wait to read the prequel. one thing that I've been trying to figure out, you wrote that "the years turned into yeni" but Tirn, Maglor's dog is still alive, how ?

Author Reply: Thank you! I'm glad you love it.

As for Tirn: I'm one of the people who believe that animals in Aman have longer lifespans than their counterparts on Middle-earth. They aren't immortal, just incredibly long-lived. (Canon example-- look at the mearas and especially Shadowfax.)
