| There aren't enough Galadriel stories, much less stories of her time in Rohan. This one is wisely told from the viewpoint of various Eorlings; not of the House of Eorl or warriors, but curious people wanting to see if the infamoous Witch of the Golden Wood was really all that scary. And it works beautifully! I particularly enjoyed young Grimstan's reasoning that the elven queen couldn't be a wicked witch because her horse did not fear her - very Rohirric!
