LarnerReviewed Chapter: 1 on 5/2/2010
The anticipation is always worse than the actual moment, I suspect. And being left to the last....

Excellently done!

Author Reply: I would think so. Well, naturally, we don't like waiting, do we? Especially when it is a bad thing that we are waiting... We would hope that it comes quick and then we could go on or something. :) A rather universal and nearly-instinctive response, I would guess. Beren might rue his living if not for the promise of meeting Luthien again, or at least completing his quest (or die trying).

I still feel that I missed out something, that it is too short. But thank you for the compliment. I don't think I quite deserve it for this... but thanks nonetheless. Sorry for the horribly late reply again... :ashamed: I missed replying to several reviews, apparently, from when things postponed in March for B2MeM returned to me in a tide of flashflood... Sorry, Larner.

Raksha The DemonReviewed Chapter: 1 on 4/30/2010
A vivid capture of Beren's imprisonment and the horror of seeing his comrades slaughtered one by one.

Author Reply: Horror, yes, I agree... But I would not say it is vivid... But then again, you as the reader might get a more impartial view on the story. :) Thank you for the compliment, Raksha. And thank you for telling me what you thought, even though this reply comes very late. It is not that I don't appreciate it; the opposite, in fact. I just missed it, during the two hectic months both offline and online. Very sorry...
