| There are some interesting changes from canon, I see. But love the dear-name you have given her of Melyanna--indeed, a beloved gift she was to them all, and to the world they eventually left behind to her progeny. And again, I am sorry for the lateness of the reply. I was not contented with Arwen's having to die to follow Aragorn at first, truth be told, so I made this piece. But now I am more convinced of the 'need' for her to choose the life of a Secondborn. Just more convinced, yes, because, anyway, their love story does not impress me quite as much as Beren and Luthien. Beren and Luthien ventured out together, while Aragorn and Arwen only met several times... LOL Tolkien did love repeating history in his universe, eh? A bit like our real history... Again, thank you for reviewing! I am glad you liked the idea posed in the piece. I was - as usual - in a drought of inspiration about what to write for Teitho that month... and this was the result.
