I enjoyed reading about Manwe and Varda in these family situations! Their care of Lunwe was so tender. It was nice to see their memories of happier times before Melkor and his attacks. Many thanks for posting this! :)

A sweet interlude! And I always love mention of butterflies!

Author Reply: (I can't believe I didn't reply to this! ... Sorry, Larner. My bad, neglecting to reply a review dated so long ago...)

Ah, I got the inspiration of butterflies from Fiondil's works, actually. :) I like how he incorporates them into his stories. This is pale in comparison, I fear. But I'm glad you enjoyed it still. Thanks for the comments. :)

Ah! What a delightful occupation for them to enjoy together!

Author Reply: I was wondering what the Ainur might have for their holiday, and came up with this. Glad you liked it! And again, dreadfully sorry for the belated reply... (Such understatement! :embarrassed: Sorry...)

Memories can help take the edge off the frustrations with the present, and assist to help form proper reactions to what is happening. Good depiction of these two calming down and calling out the best from one another.

Author Reply: Thanks for the thoughtful review. And I am really, really sorry for the very late reply. The button vanished on me when I was about to reply. Cry... At least now it has appeared again... after a very long time.

Yes, I agree with you there. And in fact, I intended the tapestry to be like... what we would call photographs - run into one. People usually call forth good memories via the photographs they have collected of those moments. I tried to do the same here. I am glad it worked. And yes, good memories could provide both an escape and a balm from the present situation... Attested by myself. LOL

Again, thank you for the review, and I am sorry for the very late reply. (Hopefully it will never again, but one never knows when it has something to do with the Internet.)

Ah--to have such a fountain--and such abilities! Heh! Delightful!

Author Reply: Yea! I hoped that the view and arrangement of the fountain would entice a feeling of enjoyment - peaceful or no (*wink*) - in the readers. I guess I was more or less successful, judging from your reaction. *grin* Thanks! And I wish I had those too... :dreamy look: That would be great...
