A! At last a tale of splendor, woven about those whose unequalled love endures through the ages.

Thank you for the telling in a manner Elvish and for the delightful inclusion of Tom and Goldberry. I thoroughly enjoyed your enlightening adventure.

Author Reply: Thank you for reading and for taking the trouble to comment! I'm very glad you enjoyed the story -- and especially that you liked Tom and Goldberry, since they so rarely appear and even more rarely get taken seriously. ^^

This was absolutely incredible. It well deserves its MEFA nomination, for many resons, not the least is the characterization of Daeron as he finally resolves his grief for Luthien. He will never cease to grieve, but with his coming to terms with her love for Beren Camlost, the poison of jealousy that burned within him has diminished somewhat, giving him some peace that I hope will be strengthened in the Blessed Lands.

I would dearly like to see a sequel to this where he sings the lay for Melian. Mayhap, if your muse is generous, you will gift us with that story one day.

Well done seems like an inadequate accolade for this tale... but well done it is!

Author Reply: ^^ Thank you for such an amazingly kind comment! I'm so glad you liked this story and my version of Daeron. I have sometimes considered sequel-type stories set afterwards in Aman; maybe one day I will write something of the sort. We'll see!
