I really enjoyed this story. You gave life and personality to characters that aren't written about. I really liked how you showed Inzilbeth's thoughts and feelings about her family. Thanks for writing!

Author Reply: Hello Alqua. Apologies for the delay in responding to your review. This was both a challenge, and a lot of fun, to write. We very rarely see these characters and they're very fascinating. Thank you very very much for taking the time to read and review.

Roisin, you've done a great job with this story. Fleshing out these characters that we know so little about, isn't easy by any means, but you've given them life and depth by the bucketful. As you know, I'm not in complete agreement with you over everything you've written, but I feel you've managed to convey all the complexities of these impossibly difficult relationships extremely convincingly and, at times, very graphically! Very well done.

Author Reply: Thank you, Inzilbeth. It was really important to me to make the characters come alive and to show both their endearing and detracting traits. I don't mind the differences in opinion. This was quite the challenge to write, and I felt like approaching the characters from their emotional standpoints would be the easiest way to go for me. Yes, I went for it even if it got nitty gritty at parts, but I felt like that would make the story shine too. :-) Thank you very much for your kind comments and taking time out of your busy scedule to read and review my story. "hugs"

Oh wow!! This is so incredably powerful and I am just blown away by it. Arranged marriages are such touchy things. You either eventually either fall in love/become friends or once the Heir arrives, hate takes over. The particular aspects of Numenorean Society at this time didn't help either.

At least she was able to keep that last document ending up in the hands of her younger son and, in turn, protect her Eldest Son's birthright.

Such an amazing, amazing story m'dear. I'll have to read the next one sometime later on in the day, as I'm running out of steam here. Can't wait to do that though. :o)

Well done mellon nin!! Well done indeed!! :o)

Author Reply: This was a challenge to write, but a fun one. I really wanted to try and show the depth and complexity of the characters in a short story. I am so very pleased you enjoyed this and I very much appreciate that you took the time to read and review my story.
