The Fledgling Years  by Soledad 1 Review(s)
Dís ThráinsdotterReviewed Chapter: 1 on 8/9/2009
Why does Curunir get angry when he hears that he and Aiwendil are to travel together? Is Curunir afraid he will be seen as less important or something in that manner? Olorin thinks he is weak but I am not so sure of that. I think he has strength he himself can not see.Altariel and Pallando seem to have great wisdom and strength, I am sure they are able to aid all of good.

Author Reply: It's mentioned somewhere (don't ask me where, I think it's the UT, but I'm not sure) that Curunir didn't like having to travel with Aiwendil. And LOTR shows clearly that Saruman deeply despised Radagast... which didn't hinder him to use the clueless Brown Wizard to lure Gandalf into a trap.
