| This was a pleasant read and very smartly written! Poor Isildur, seeking to avoid romance and then getting clobbered with it on the face! (Although I must admit that it was rather refreshing having this particular relationship start out only with the slightest touch of romantic undercurrent, and even only then aided very strongly with alcohol.) Author Reply: I'm very happy you enjoyed this, celeritas. It's been my experience, as well as watching others, that romatic relationships don't always start with fireworks, the swell of classical music, or people running in slow motions towards eachother through a field of flowers with arms outstretched. I wanted Tindalome to be real and tangible along with isildur. they were both human with faults and virtues. I always envisioned their first meeting to be less than perfect, but this was a whole lot of fun to write.
