I love it! You slew the witchking....

Oh dear oh dear - there really is no hope, I'm afraid.... Traditions die hard, if die indeed they do!

I so love the contrast between Lothiriel and her aunt, and the lovely relationship springing up already between Lothiriel and Eowyn. They are well prepared for the current generation, I think, and you can't say that Eowyn isn't well warned by her brother's beloved as to the nature of Ivriniel! Heh! Ah, what a situation! And absolutely love Lothiriel's description of that dress and how it will make whoever wears it look like a stuffed pheasant! How wonderful an image! Love it, love it, love it!

Oh Eru! I laughed so hard at that last line I felt pangs in my chest! I think I cracked something in there...Poor Eówyn! Well--Witchking's Bane vs Stweard's sister Round 2... ding ding! *rings bell*

Author Reply: Thanks, I'm pleased I gave you a laugh.

I knew it! Men are cowards when confronted with wedding preparations and a dress!!! Well, Eowyn, better to start sharpening your sword...I can't wait

Author Reply: Maybe men are just cowards when confronted with tyrannical aunts. ;-) Glad you're enjoying this.

Oh dear, I'm not surprised Faramir doesn't understand. He would not care if Eowyn wore an old sack for the wedding!

Would Eowyn be allowed alone with Faramir in her rooms prior to the wedding in those days?

I'm fascinated to learn what happens next!

Author Reply: I don't think people would have been so Victorian about it. In Regency times, for example, things were more liberal. For example, Marianne Dashwood's behaviour with Mr Willoughby is only frowned upon because she takes it to the extreme. Besides, we have to imagine that the maid was about.

Glad you're enjoying this.

Yep, Faramir is as useless as predicted. I still am "betting" on Eowyn.

Love the story.

Author Reply: Thanks. You're a brave better. You know you put me in a position of power, because I can manipulate the outcome!
