Such a lovely story! It warmed be to the core as it does Erestor when Estel is near. Im a parent myself and I also work with small children in my profession as a kindergarten teacher. I know how soothin and heartwarming it can be when a small child sits near and loves you for being you and you are good enough.😌

What a precious story! I love that it's Erestor's POV for a change, babies have an instinct for finding those with kind hearts. Love it, love it, love it! Author Reply: I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I loved Pentangle's wonderful series of little ficlets, "Erestor and Estel," and felt that characterization of their relationship rang so true. Best, ~Marethiel

That was a lovely and warm-hearted portrayal of Estel of Imladris. We get to see the engaging child, and at the same time glimpse the qualities which will ensure his future greatness. Author Reply: Thanks so much. I just felt that his presence would warm hearts, such a valiant little man... ~Marethiel

Ah, this is an image of young Estel I can truly honor as we see the competence and trust of the man he will become already forming in the child he is! Very nice! Author Reply: I appreciate your writing. Have a great one. ~Marethiel

By the Valar, nothing feels as gentle and sweet as that child choosing you, this time, to be his comforter! This is utterly adorable, and so heart warming. Author Reply: Thank you, shirebound! I figured for Aragorn to be such a giving, caring man he had to have been a giving caring child first, and encouraged in that. :-) I'm glad you enjoyed it. Bright blessings, ~Marethiel

Very sweet look at little Estel in Imladris. You convey the joy that young human children bring to the ageless, but declining, colony of Elves. Author Reply: I tried hard to imagine how an immortal would view the incredily rapid growing of a human child, and I thought that a baby's constant wonder at the new things they discover, known for milennia by his elven caretakers, might be a way to catch their hearts. Thanks for taking the time to review, I greatly appreciate it. :-) Bright blessings, ~Marethiel
