Awww...sweet story of a father losing his little girl. :)

Author Reply: Thank you SO much for taking the time to write! I'm sorry for the late response. Poor Aragorn, his baby leaving him means the end of an era as an "ada"... now he has to firmly move into "daerada" status. LOL

Best, Marethiel

Poor Aragorn. This must be so difficult for a father.

Author Reply: And his baby, too. I remember my father, and my husband when our oldest daughter was married... how hard to no longer be the Hero in your daughter's eyes, that the role has been passed to another...

Thanks for the review, I appreciate you taking the time to write.

Ah, the pain of accepting the child has grown up and is ready to take the next step toward being her own person! Poor Aragorn!

Author Reply: Isn't it lucky he has his wise and beautiful Arwen to help him through?

Poor Aragorn... he may be king, but there are some things EVERY father must kneel to, and the passage of time and your children's growing up are just two.

Thanks so much for writing. I appreciate your comments.

how sad and on the other part so true to life. Our heart always break when our children spread their wings, albeit we should be happy. Touching writing. Thank you. Lai.

Author Reply: I remember how my father acted when I, his only daughter and youngest of four, informed my family that I was engaged. When I wrote this, I envisioned this daughter to be his youngest, Elessar's baby, and it meant to him the end of him being a doting daddy and his baby's hero.

I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks very much for taking the time to write.
