Journey out of Darkness  by Armariel 2 Review(s)
LarnerReviewed Chapter: 6 on 5/30/2009
This is definitely a folksong appropriate for Radagast the Brown if any is! Love how Greenjade is beginning to change whether he would or no! He's not certain what to think of all this, is he? And he's almost accepting that the apparently Dunedain mercenary deserves Nell.

I find myself wondering about the relationship between Radagast and Nell, myself. Wonder if his farmer's wife was from this area?

In places your writing is so very lyrical!

Very appropriate indeed;) (although I had to leave out a couple of verses that rang a trifle anachronistic and not too p.c.) Greenjade is making quite a bit of progress considering he's only been human for less than two days! Ok, maybe not wholly believable, but with a story you've got to suspend disbelief at times whether you like it or not. I think he has just given birth to a conscience, however, and has a suspicion that acquiring a human soul is not going to be all fun and games and hearts and flowers. And he already knows he is not worthy of Nell and may never be--how's he going to explain his past to her, after all??

Could be, could be....maybe Nell is his great-great-granddaughter? He may never know.....but there has to be *some* reason why he sees fit to visit this particular village once more;)

Thank you, thank you.....I love writing poetic prose;);)

I think I may be liking Greenjade a little bit now if he's going to rediscover the goodness he could have been and had and may now recover.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Well...he's been human for less than two days now;) and it looks as though he's already given birth to a conscience. It's definitely a start, and should come as a rather pleasant surprise to Radagast, who surely didn't expect it so soon....

Thanks once more for your input!:):):):)
