| Ah, dear--his curiosity stifled by the guy at the next table, then. Poor Greenjade. Apparently the bone wasn't so good if Nilde preferred a pinecone to it! And poor Smeagol is denying his own past, both Frodo and what the Ring made of himself. I bet he is shocked to see himself as he once was, before the Ring took him. Interesting interlude! Author Reply: Well, my sister's dog likes pinecones much better than bones, it seems!;) Smeagol is still in denial, yes. Some truths are just a bit hard to face up to. I dare say the sight of his reflection did come as a bit of a shock, but on the other hand, he's likely to be vastly pleased with the improvement! Greenjade has a ways to go, himself, although I'm a bit puzzled over how he's taking shape here. He was conceived in Light from the West as a sort of monster, and here he's coming across more as a rather charming rogue.... But hopefully the muse knows what she's doing! ~~~~{~@ | |
