| Ah--if only all our wedding nights might be thus! Lovely! Author Reply: I think every bride has thir own anxieties on the day of their wedding, and so many women worry about their looks and how their significant thers view them. I didn't want to write a traditional classic beauty for Isildur's wife. I knew she would be a character I would be working with a lot, and it was important to me to write a woman that even women today can relate to. She's smart, hard working, and strong in spirit. And being part of the Faithful, I think Isildur would have valued a wife who was strong and no flimsy, high maintenance, beauty would have worked. I am happy you enjoyed this tale. Don't have time to review all your stories, now, but I am SO glad 1). that you're now posting here, and 2). you've decided to take a look at the 2nd Age (IMO an era sorely in need of more good fan fiction!). I'm looking forward to see what you do with these families which we know must have been strong to weather all that they did. This lovely bit of romance gets you off to a great start!
