Your Aragorn and Arwen are wise and caring parents but I do hope that they don't expect their children to attend too many boring dinner parties!

Author Reply: I am so pleased you enjoy my Aragorn and Arwen. I plan on writing more of them later on, and so I'm happy to know you enjoy my portrayel of them. No, I don't think they expect their young children to attend many boring dinners. Thank you so very much for taking the time to read and review. Apologies for taking a few days to reply and thank you. "hugs"

Pink banners? Now that really would have been a sight to see above the Citadel! *giggle* I bet Aragorn looked really fetching in pink!
This reminds me of the quilt that Larner had Pippin make for him with pink patches.

Author Reply: Pink banners would hav been rather....Vsibile, wouldn't they? I don't know how Aragorn would look in pink or not, but the image makes me giggle everytime. I'm pleased you enjoyed this and honored you took the time to leave a review. Thank you!

'Even a cat may look at a King' but it doesn't give her the right to sink her claws in to climb his leg! *grin*

Author Reply: No, it sure doesn't does it? But thakfully for the dear kitty Aragorn was kind enough to let his daughter keep the little one. Thank you vry much for reviewing. :-)

A clumsy serenade indeed but it worked and that is what counts. I am glad that Aragorn realises that the lad will do it again. An enjoyable read!

Author Reply: I think most women can appreciate the effort, even if it doesn't always have succesful results. Aragorn knows hs son well, and is wise enough to let Eldarion find his way. I'm happy you enjoyed this!

Yes, this is a time to begin looking forward to the reunions. I didn't realize one of his children had preceded him. Alas this must be so--but it is common enough even today!

Thank you for this one.

Author Reply: Sorry I got behind on my replies. Yes, in my corner of the world, one of Aragorn's daughters does die, but her death saved a lot of other lives so it wasn't in vain. I haven't had a chance to write that story yet. I am glad you liked this. Thanks for the review.

Sleep deprivation, dehydration, and fasting were also used by many cultures along with chants and sometimes dance as preparation to experience prophetic visions, which in Aragorn's case appears to have happened! Very wonderful dream he has, and fully in accord with what you have described his second daughter to be. A memory of a most vivid dream-vision of the future for him, one to help sustain him when he feels barred from the one hope he has!

Author Reply: Yes they were. We studied that a lot in psychology. I liked the idea of Aragorn seeing a vision of Arwen and his daughter. It's actually his daughter, Elarinya, that he sees. She's the only blonde child of his in my corner of the world. She inheireted it from Galadriel and celebrian, I also always envisioned Gilraen as blonde, I just always have. I thought Aragorn needed the visions of hope for his future for sure. I'm happy you enjoyed this and I appreciate the review.

Poor Aragorn--challenged to do what he's not done before--or at least not all that well. But she appreciates the thought and effort made to please her--not that anyone married to Aragorn would ever truly regret it! Heh!

Author Reply: I would appreciate it if Aragorn made me burned toast or soggy cereal for sure! Poor Aragorn trying to step out of his comfort zone, and taking along a toddler who is more interested in making loud noises. I appreciate you taking the time to read this and review!

Adolescence can be such a difficult time! Love this!

Author Reply: It sure can! It wasn't too terribly long ago that I was there. It must be especially hard for a Princess. Thanks so very very much for reading and reviewing! "hugs"

Such a wonderful reason for him to choose now to linger here in the Mortal Lands--for a few seasons, at least. And life is renewed through our children!

Author Reply: This was a touching story to write, and it's very rare I write from legolas' perspective. I am pleased you enjoyed this and took the time to read and review. Thanks so very much!
