Interesting way for Elrond to meet Glorfindel! I love looking at how Elrond thinks. I wonder what he did when he figured it all out?

Thank you for the review! They are much appreciated!

I love getting into character's heads. After he found out, I am sure he laughed at his mistake. In private... ;)

I started reading this earlier today and then Mr daw dragged me away to Do Stuff. What a great first meeting! And really, who could blame Elrond for the mistake he makes?

"Lock up your daughters." LOLOL

Wow! Thank you! Ths was great!!
Elrond immersed in clerical duties made me laugh for some reason.. It's not a usual setting for him and also hit the nail with my own upcoming new dties which will also involve no doubt a lot more paperwork than I would love! So this was perfectly appropriate! :-)

This world is so perfetly created in your mind that is full o details and atmosphere. From the way Elrond considers the warrior, to his political views and machinations and considerations, the tone perfectly matches that of CSING, this could be a lost chapter in that tale! IT all has a kind of moliére-esque flavour to it that is wonderfully achieved, and Glorfindel with "dandified hair and trendy clothes" really made me howl. The banter, the wager, Celeborn´s punch-line that I was awaiting eagerly... all is delightful.

And then the moment when Elrond, full of self-confidence, admonsishes him to get rid of "that" Glorfindel... LOLLOL. That was priceless. I could picture Glorfindel´s face, and his quick decision...almost as if he saw an opportunity adn grasped it without thinking.. being rid of that... This and That, indeed. A very interesting idea, I loved it.

And, the constant mentions to This GLorfindel somehow made me think of Dune's character Duncan Idaho and his endless, countless iterations and his staunchless loyalty to the house atreides... well, all in all, simply wonderful! a great reminder of that story that is still awaiting resolution back in Celebrimbor`s halls! :-)

I'm sad to admit that I won't be able to meet my deadline. The weeks have ben short and full of other things that really didn't stole my brains. But I´ll do my best to finish it some time, since of couse I owe you my version, which is, no need to mention since you already guessed, terribly different from this one.

THank you very much for all the effort you out in finding time to do this. It's also a reminder of the good times we've all had at this place. I really miss the inspiration to keep writing. THanks!

I am so glad! Happy Birthday!

One must remember this is early in his career as a mover of history. ;) That it touches on your new job is purely a coincidence! o.O

*g* The styled look is Glorfindels attempt to disguise himself as little as possible. Any sort of traditional or historical apparel would certainly lend rather than detract from similarities. I am so happy you were entertained by the details!

Well, you can see it from his point of view. Celebrity is not the same as authority.

Score!! I remembered that we have both read Frank Herbert, and it did flit through my mind. I will get back to posting CSING. I will, I will, I will.

Well, it was a wager between us, and my winnings are that you have a better excuse than I for not getting it done! You actually owe me two stories now...

Good times! So True!! You are so welcome! And thanks for the inspiration to post something at least once a year for your b-day!
