Ah, Finderato--to have to deal with a Butterbur and a Ferny on the on-location team! Heh! Hilarious.

Author Reply: Glad you caught that, Larner... It's odd that Ferny 'happened' to show up there, isn't it!!!

I shudder at Boromir's embarrassment. (And it had to be on live television.)Goodness gracious, yes, he won't want an interview!
Very funny. : )

Author Reply: Of course it was live television...

Glad you enjoyed this... at the expense of our dear Boromir...

I better watch my back!

Actually, Agape, I hope this becomes a continuing series as the Muse strikes you... there are just *tons* of stuff that our Findaráto could be reporting on covering three ages. It would be interesting, for instance, to have him interviewing Glorifndel after he chases the Witch-king of Angmar away and spouts his prophecy.... *grin* (aren't I evil? *lol*) Good job with this one. Loved the description of Boromir falling into the river... sounds like someone describing an Olympic event.

Author Reply: It wasn't as good as the agony of defeat.... but the reporter was caught unaware and was dumbfounded. I think he'd heard about the prowess of the Steward's son and just couldn't believe he just belly-flopped into the rive.

I'm still laughing myself... AND stop with the nuzguls! I've got to get back to Denethor!!!

I can just see Boromir as a big name in the News!

Author Reply: I'm sure he would have been. Tharbad once belonged to the men of Numenor... though I'm sure the men of Bree really hadn't a clue... unless a Ranger or two let the name 'slip.'

Oh - that's probably how word got out that Boromir was coming!

Hn, sometimes I wonder about what was in that Horn of his, how it takes him over 3 months to make it to Imlardris, even with loosing his horse is beyond me! He had to have had the worst sense of direction!
More please,
Lynda

Author Reply: Sh! Please don't say that too loudly, Lynda. The poor man has never lived down the embarrassment.... Well, now that he's dead, he doesn't have to worry about it any more...

Unless someone in Namo's halls happens to bring it up around the supper table!

Poor Boromir!

Thank you! We really have gone too long without adequate news coverage of the wild areas to the north and west. Glad to hear that VBC is on its toes!

I agree with Fredegar - I don't think Boromir will be wanting to grant an interview! hehehe

Author Reply: Poor Boromir is about all I can say. He leaves home, probably in a flurry of cameras and such, and then disgraces himself before LIVE television!!!

The VBC strives to cover all parts of Middle-earth and beyonds... Please watch here for continued updates!
