Nice chapter - I'm glad they survived, barely, the river. It's a shame the poor little girl found them, but I'm glad her father had the sense to send her away.... just in case they were dead.

I love how Aragorn's first instinct (after confirming that Faramir was alive) was to do a full weapons inventory LOL. And now I can't wait to see how our lost King and his Steward handle the hospitality of their rescuers.

Thank the Valar, Faramir came to the rescue. Can't wait to see what Aragorn will say to Galdir.

Author Reply: I can't wait either ;) Thanks for the review.

The name might be familiar in Gondor, but who would connect this one with THAT Thorongil, forty-plus years gone?

Glad they will be well cared for! Heh!

Author Reply: That is what I thought myself. Even if he did know of the legend, it could be easy enough that the Ranger was named after him ;)

I'm already eagerly anticipating Aragorn's conversation with Galdir. I doubt he is ever going to get over the shock of this! Greatly looking forward to more.

Author Reply: Thanks for the review. Yes, Galdir is going to be an interesting encounter...
