Duplicity  by Agape4Gondor 3 Review(s)

Well, if Ungoliant's daughter haunts Cirith Ungol, which was named for the evil dam of its inhabitant, indeed that dam might well haunt Ithilien!

Spiders of that sort can be so insidious!

Author Reply: I really, really, really hate spiders... but it seemed to be something Boromir would understand...

Lovely as always. Not a very common pairing of characters, or at least not without Faramir there as well. Although I suppose he is still sort of there, in their words.

Author Reply: I had written a little thing before this where Boromir tells Faramir, as B leaves for Rivendell, to avail himself of the wizard's friendship. For some reason, as I was driving home from work, I just felt Boromir's upsetness when he sees Gandalf there in Rivendell. Why he would ever expect the wizard in Gondor - I'm not sure - except Gandalf had just spent the entire winter there!

And yes - Faramir is always 'present' where Boromir is..... *sighs*

Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I didn't realize when I read this on Prim's board that this was just the first chapter. Excellent. I will gladly wait for more

Tari

Author Reply: No, Tari... this isn't a TBC - It's just a one-shot... I'm too busy with the four other stories to even think about such a thing... and then there are four stories in the prep stages after I'm done with at least one of the current ones! Yikes..............

Thanks for reviewing!
