| Of all the names he could have "dredged up", he chose the one that someone knew (and hated). Oh dear, this mission seemed fraught with problems before he was decked. Cheers :) Author Reply: I think it was more a case of Aragorn himself being recognized, however, Chandur would have easily recognized that name, even if Aragorn hadn't been.
