The Ruling House of Dol Amroth  by Elea24 7 Review(s)

Any chapter with Amrothos is always interesting. Thanks for sharing this. I imagine that Lothy must have looked quite angelic as a toddler.

Author Reply: I imagine that she did look very angelic, though, being the youngest and the only girl I imagine she could be quite boisterous when she wanted to be, knowing she would probably get away with it.
I absolutely love Amrothos as a character. I've always imagined him to be the fun-loving cheeky younger brother, trying to find his own path in life in the wake of his brothers.
Thank you for reading and reviewing.

Very touching! It's nice to read about Adrahil. Thanks to Lady Bluejay, Lia and Madeleine, I'm now an Eomer and Lothy fanatic. Will be looking forward to more installments from you as well.

Author Reply: Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. Thanks to Lady Bluejay, Lia and Madeleine, I too am an Eomer and Lothiriel fanatic. Who wouldn't be with such wonderful characterisations by such amazing authors? It's part of the reason I was so drawn to writing about Lothiriel's childhood, although, in truth, I have had her whole life story mapped out in my head for years. But my writing is no where near that standard of writing, so I think my take on Eomer/Lothiriel will have to wait quite a while. Still, I am glad that you liked this piece as I enjoy writing about this family so much.

This is beautiful-- I never did think about how Finduilas' death must have affected Adrahil. Lovely work!

Poor Amrothos! He's a typical little brother, wanting to keep up with the older ones. And he's a resourceful kid, getting that sword for himself. I sometimes wonder how children survived in these cultures with weapons all around and fire burning everywhere.

Author Reply: I imagine it took a lot of dragging and hauling for him, but he's very determined. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing.

I liked this very much. Never gave much thought to Adrahil's loss. Always concentrating on Denethor's - but it must have been profound. Thank you for sharing this!

Ah, Finduilas's loss! And now he shares her memory with Imrahil's daughter.

Poignant.

That's very sweet, Elea. Lothiriel must be a comfort to her grandfather, and she obviously adores him.

Author Reply: I've always found the grandparent/grandchild relationship to be very special and seeing as Lothiriel is his only granddaughter (providing Ivriniel had no daughters) I like to think that they were very close.

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing.
