Rhyselle's Library  by Rhyselle 8 Review(s)
Agape4GondorReviewed Chapter: 13 on 3/3/2009
Ah! I had read this somewhere before, but it is still as 'enlightening' as the first time. *giggles*

LarnerReviewed Chapter: 13 on 2/4/2009
Indeed the perfect question for this child! Heh!

Reading Claritas' review makes me wonder, do the Re-born have navels?
(Inquiring minds want to know!)

VirtuellaReviewed Chapter: 13 on 1/31/2009
Aha, good point. Of course all the firstborn elves would not have belly buttons. I've never thought about that.

Author Reply: Well, I suppose that Eru could have gone ahead and created the mature bodies with a navel anyway since He knew their offspring would have them, but it was more fun to think about if they didn't have them, and what the next generation would have made of that. It's easy to forget that the belly button is simply a scar.

Hmmm. Those folks who say that Elves heal without scars could probably argue that an elvish umbilical scar would fade away and leave them without one after all... but this was much more fun to write! Hee!

Thanks for reviewing!

Oh, Eru! What a question, I wonder what the answer was?
Lynda

Author Reply: I'm afraid I don't know. The Muse shut up at that point. *grin*

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for reviewing!

KayleeReviewed Chapter: 13 on 1/31/2009
*laughs* Oh, very good meldenya! Brilliant. And I agree wholeheartedly with Edlyn...definitely wonderful blackmail material. *snickers*

~Kaylee!

Author Reply: Thanks for reviewing! I'm inspired by my one children a lot when it comes to writing elflings... When my youngling asked a similar question regarding "Adam and Eve" I answered "I don't know."

I'd love to know what Ingwe said in response... but the Muse isn't telling.

Author Reply: Oops! I meant my "own" children, not "one". LOL!

CeleritasReviewed Chapter: 13 on 1/31/2009
Oh, that was simply adorable! And a perfectly sensible question to ask!

Author Reply: I'm so glad you liked this! It was fun writing it.

Hmmm. Now I'm wondering what the reaction of those first elves to the umbilical cord remnant drying out and falling off a baby elf.... *giggle*

ROFL! I love this, twinling. If ever Ingwe wants to have blackmail material on Ingwion this would be the equivalent of one of those bare-nekkid-baby-on-a-fur-rug pics. I can just see Ingwion looking utterly embarrassed and Finrod and Glorindel literally rolling on the floor clutching their sides as they laugh hysterically:

Ingwion gritted his teeth, repeating to himself, "Kin-slaying is bad. Kin-slaying is bad."

Wonderful job!

Edlyn

Author Reply: There are times you wish you didn't have any otornya, aren't there? *grin* So very glad you liked it!
