Poor Faramir, what a dreadful ordeal and he is so heroic.
I certainly hope that Imrahil does meet Min soon.I think he will have a surprise!
I'm glad the villains are caught.
I eagerly await more of this gripping story.

Thank you so much for your comments.

'My' Faramir is made of stern stuff and he has proved his quality time and time again! but that ordeal has marked him so deeply that his mind still cannot bear to engage with it. . .hence his extreme reaction and withdrawal.

Shireling, your story just gets better and better.

I, too, had a difficult time reading the torture scene, though it wasn't as graphic as some torture scenes in other fanfics that I've read. Thank you for that. Now the plot thickens. Will Imrahil visit the "Duck" and recognized his nephew in Min? Somehow I think that fate will intervene. But maybe I will be surprised.

Hi Steff

Thank you

I wanted to convey the horror of Faramir's ordeal without giving a blow-by blow account but I'm sorry if it was upsetting.

Min's close encounter with the party from Rohan was clearly a major setback and rocked to his already fragile stability. . .add Imrahil into the mix and who knows what will happen!!!! ;)

OH!!!! I am soooooo hoping that .... well, you know what I'm hoping. Great chapter... once again, incredibly tense. The telling of the heinous deed was difficult to read, but well written! Thank you for sharing and now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that nothing in the RW will keep you from finishing this!!!

Author Reply: Hi

Yes, this chapter wasn't easy to write but the extremity of Faramir's reaction to what he had endured was central to his subsequent, though unconscious, reaction.

Thank you for your continued support.

Ah! This story is so good! I wish I had time to leave a longer review but I don't. I just wanted to tell you that there is at least one reader out here (probably many more) who is greatly enjoying this story and wants an another chapter right away! So hurry up! ;)
