Pippin-Frog For A Day  by Neilia 7 Review(s)
AntaneReviewed Chapter: 3 on 7/30/2008
How terrible for Pip-frog! But better for all of us to know ahead of time that he's going to be all right. Love Gandalf's 'answer' to Merry's question about turning him back into a hobbit early. Pippin must really be sorry if he's going to give Merry all his afters for a week or two. I look forward to the next chapter! *hugs* *hugs Pip-frog*

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Pip-frog appreciates the hugs. He will certainly be glad when he can return them with real arms again. Thank you for your lovely review, Antane. Hugs, Neilia

Oh, you really had me worried there. I should have known Gandalf would be clever about this. I was glad to see a new chapter posted. I can't wait to see what the night will bring for Pippin-Frog.

Author Reply: Me neither. I have so many possibilities floating around my head, I am dizzy! Hugs, Neilia

Well, IF something had happened to Pippin, Gandalf would have had to fear for his life because of the wrath of Pippin's cousins ;-)

So he was very clever to apply the ward spell, too.

And I just love shirebound's word creation: Froggit :)

Author Reply: I love Froggit too! Thank you for your review. Hugs, Neilia

Ohhh, I was in suspense for long weeks... Of course Gandalf wouldn't let harm come to the Hobbits! What a relief - a ward. So Pip-frog won't be any snake's dinner. And he actually is feeling sorry for what he has done. I hope he does learn his lesson... or may Gandalf consider lengthening the spell? *grins in a way saying she wouldn't mind*

Author Reply: Hahaha! Poor Pip! You want him to be a tiny green tree frog longer? He won't hear of it. He is gumming my finger right now wanting to be turned into a Hobbit the very next chapter; but, no promises! Hugs, Neilia

Bless Gandalf for that thoughtfulness! Poor Pippin--fearing he would be a snake's meal! And now he'd even sacrifice his afters for Merry? Dear, foolish Took!

Author Reply: Yes, our Pip is pretty much a scamp. Hope he doesn't change too much, though. Would hate for him to lose that little twinkle in his eye! :D Hugs, Neilia

Oh my!! Poor wee froggy-Pip :-O

I'm glad Gandalf protected him and that he is learning some lessons :-)

So well done, Neilia!!

Author Reply: Thabk you, Pearl. I appreciate your review so very much. See you next chapter. Hugs, Neilia

Well, thank goodness Gandalf had the foresight to protect our frog-hobbit (froggit?). But poor Pip, what a fright!

Author Reply: Thank you for your review. Froggit? I love the term! Wish I had thought of it and applied it sooner. Do you think that it would fit in so late? Hugs, Neilia
