"No ‘ribbit' answered him, no gentle tugging of his foot-hair."

EEEEEEEEEEEE! What brilliant, hobbity writing! ^-^
More, please. *big round doe eyes - BLINK, BLINK*

Author Reply: Thank you for your enthusiasm. The next chapter is in the hopper. See ya soon. Hugs, Neilia :D

Yes, totally AU - but what fun! I like Pippin-the-frog and his still Hobbitty appetite.

Author Reply: Yep! Pip-frog is still totally Hobbit. :D Thank you for the review. Look for the next chapter soon.

Naughty of Pip-frog to scare his Merry like that! And now he's really in for it - I hope you don't leave us hanging off this cliff too long!

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Cliff? Did I leave you hanging? *Teeheehee* Will post next chapter as soon as me and my beta get it whipped into shape. Thank you for reviewing. Hugs, Neilia

I loved it when he ate the bugs. This is excellent and Pippin really was enjoying being a frog but now, he is in serious trouble from the sound of things. I don't know which will be worse, Gandalf having to explain things to Lord Elrond or Pippin frog tangling with a snake! Merry had better hurry up and find Pip! (I hope there's more soon!)

Author Reply: Well, now I have to write Pip-frog in or out of trouble, right? It's coming along...it's coming along. Thank you for your review. :D

Great story so far! Pip-frog seemed to have a lot of fun - until that snake appeared!

I don't know what's that "something about Pippin's condition" Gandalf talked about, but I really hope it will prevent the snake from eating Pip-frog.

I'm looking forward to reading more :)

Author Reply: Thank you Andrea for your review. Pip-frog does seem to be in a fix! We shall see what is up in the next chapter. *Teehee* It's fun being the author! :D

This is very different and hilarious! Oh, Pippin is so notty...
I like the contrast between Bilbo and Sam's exclamations.
I can imagine his plump hobbity-frog stomach would look appetizing to any snake. But you won't really let him get eaten? I'll just have to be patient for the next chapter then. :)

Author Reply: Cool! So glad you like my tale. Oh, yes, the next chapter should be interesting. :D

ACK!! EEK!!

NO!!

Wake up Pip-frog!

And what is Gandalf about to tell the others?

This is such fun, Neilia :-) :-) I hope to see more soon.

Author Reply: Thank you Pearl! Yes, this is tons of fun to write. See you next chapter! :D

After Merry had departed in such entertaining haste, Pippin experimented with his lovely toe pads.

This is delightful. But now.... eeee, the suspense!

Author Reply: Yep, poor Pip-frog is being set up to be a tasty snack all right! :D Thanks for the review. Hugs, Neilia

Ooh, dear! How alarming--and logical! Heh! Find him quick, Gandalf!

Author Reply: Maybe Gandalf won't have to 'find him'...but that's for the next chapter. Thanks for the review. Hugs, Neilia
