Vilwarin's Vignettes  by Vilwarin 3 Review(s)

Yes, to be a King is to lose a good deal of privacy, although I've decided in my stories that Aragorn, as the first King in a thousand years, is not allowing such silliness as a whole group of folks standing around while he dresses from the get go. He may need to have a valet, for court dress will be fancier; but the Lord Diaperer and Holder of the King's Mantle? Nah--I'll have him do without! Heh!

Author Reply: Ah, but I remembered zhe "lever" of the French kings and just couldn't resist. And sometimes he has to endure things in order to not offend the nobles. A very tricky thing is being king.

Poor Aragorn!I can think of nothing worse than having to dress in public, especially after his life of solitude in the wilds!

Author Reply: Oh yes *shudders* I don't think that I would ever get used to it.
