*L* Oh that is a cute story! Very fine read! Its not the bunny I gave you, but still..veeeery nice. ( And the bunny you could still write :P) Oh and have another bunny for you, just wondered how do other children Pips age like at Brandy Hall react to Pips pink piggy, with clothes that he can dress in. Its a wee bit like a doll. So what do the lads say? Doderic for example or Ilberic? or Sancho in Hobbiton or whereever he lives? Do they tease him?

Author Reply: Heh, great bunnies, hon! Actually, I have been mulling over just that thought. I'm sure some of the lads would tease him a little, so we'll see what comes out of that in a future tale.

So glad you liked the way this one turned out, though!!

What an absolutely delightful chapter - I think the best yet!

I loved the ease and beauty of it all from the bath and the song to the splashed water to the sister so full of love and the new wardrobe and the easy family love - it was beautiful. And I wondered - as I read - if Tulip might possibly accompany Pip on his journey....

Well - lo and behold - there it was at the end - and it made my heart glad!

Huzzah!

Author Reply: I'm so glad you liked it! The Took's are a delightful family to write about, and of course, Pippin is incredibly special and very easy to love. Thank you for reading and letting me know what you thought of this tale!!

"Knitted snores" - I wonder how they sound!

I came to the same conclusion as Larner. If Tulip is going to accompany Pippin on the quest it might be in another "shape", maybe the scarf.

And I'm right glad that Tulip will be always there for Pippin, an always present part of his mother. Wonderful!

Author Reply: Thank you Andrea, I very much appreciate your thoughtful reviews! Like I told Larner, that idea had not occurred to me but it is an interesting idea. Yes, I picture wee Tulip as a lifelong friend for Pip, a special gift from his mum.

This is so poignant, Cathleen. Does her wool get worked into his scarf?

Author Reply: Thanks Larner! Well, I honestly never thought about that, but it's a fascinating suggestion. Hmm, we'll see....

Oh Cathleen! I think this is your best Pippin and Tulip story yet!

I think the best part is how *loved* little Pippin is by all his family--no matter how much he sometimes exasperates them with his energy and exuberance, it's clear that he is cherish and adored by all. Lovely job!

Author Reply: Aww, thank you Dreamflower, I'm so glad you liked it! Yes, there's a great deal of love amongst the Tooks and I can only imagine what a delight a kid like Pip would be to have around! Thank you again for saying such nice things!
