Aragorn was right, the puppy was only doing what puppies do. Eldarion will be more carefull, and he gets a story too.

Ah, at least all is NOT lost after all. And I had a puppy that ate a very important letter.

AWWW... This just brought a smile to my face. Cute. Lucky for Aragorn (and Eldarion!) Nimrodel did not leave a stinky or wet gift with the shredded parchment!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I'm pleased you enjoyed it.I'm sure Aragorn is very grateful there is nothing worst than shredded paper to clear up!

Hi, there! I've been very bad about reading or reviewing lately, but this is a great ficlet! I appreciate dog stories so much more now that my son has one!

A small boy + a mischievous puppy + an important document left unattended = Recipe for Disaster!

Luckily for Aragorn, Faramir's revision salvaged the work. But Aragorn was right to teach Eldarion that the treaty's destruction was his responsibility, not that of the innocent and frisky pup.

Of course, my puppy says that paper is one of the major food groups...

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. A rececipe for disaster indeed !
I like to think Aragorn is wise.
My cat,Jo loves tearing paper at the ripe old age of 11 !
