Oh this is so sweet and also so sad in parts. We are going to miss you dear. Your writing has grown so much. Have fun with your original work.

Author Reply: Hantanyel, my dear, for all your many, many very kind reviews! You have been with me since the beginning and I so very much appreciate all your support! *big hobbity hug*

Sam thought he was the luckiest hobbit there ever was to be able to sit between both sides of his heart. Of course, Frodo and Rose thought that they were the luckiest hobbits.

What a lovely story, Antane.

Oh, thank you, my dear! *hugs* I am sorry it took me so long to get to this; I was gone to the evening church service by the time you posted it Sunday, Monday was crazy with school preparations and I was so jiddery I couldn’t concentrate on anything at all, and today, I was at school all day. But in a way I’m glad I saved it, because after a long (and insufferably dull) first day, it was *so* nice to escape into this happy little family for a while and forget everything but the joy and love there. *smiles*

I so love that song of Tolkien’s, and I agree with Frodo about his favorite part—mine too!

Rose smiled
as she wondered whether her husband and Frodo would have their occasional argument over who was the luckiest, with both of them insisting that they were
luckier than the other. Sam could be the gentlest hobbit there was, but when he thought he was right about something, he could turn more stubborn than
a mule and the Baggins stubbornness had long been legendary. They could have settled on the fact that they were both the luckiest, but they loved to argue
about it, and it was so wonderful to hear Frodo’s giggles as he tried to convince Sam that he was the luckiest and Sam was just as insistent that he was
the luckiest.

*chuckles* That’s great, and you know why I love it! Those kinds of pleasant arguments can be such fun…as you seem to have discovered, if your humble servant may say so. *grins wickedly*

And of course I love the end—so warm and sweet and cozy. Yes, Sam is indeed a lucky Hobbit.

These “Last Wish” stories always make me want to cry, yet they’re so sweet. It’s a great blessing to have a frank writing style, and you have it; and something like this makes it shine.
God bless,
Galadriel

Oh, Antane, I always love these stories! Frodo is so sweet as a "child" and I just love how Sam and Merry and Pippin and Rosie jsut accept it and somehow just know how to handle him. Such a lovely gift for our dear Queen!
God bless,
Ellie
