| Merry is ever the caretaker. It's part of what I like about him. Author Reply: Indeed. This story focusses more on book-Merry than movie-Merry. Book-Merry has so much more depth, and we get to see into his true personality a lot more than was shown in the movies. Thanks for reading! | |

To me, that's what Tolkien's story is all about.. loyalty and friendship. Those are two of the most important things in life, and it helped the hobbits to save Middle-earth! | |

| Enjoyed this again, reading it more fully than the quick skim I gave earlier.
