| Ah, this was delightful, Mari! Like all of your drabbles they don't feel rushed for words like mine sometimes do, but what I really like is how each drabble moved the story forward, and each told us something new about Pippin. | |

| Aw, lovely. Gandalf bedtime stories, indeed. And Merry, healer's apprentice. D'y'know, the only thing I might add would be a glimpse of Beregond, swapping troll jokes with Pippin. He'd've been recovering there, too! And all the while in the back of my mind I'm thinking of Frodo and Sam, not far away, in their healing sleep. Did perhaps a smile cross Frodo's sleeping face, hearing a hobbity peal of laughter in his dreams? (and if it's not too much of a liberty, I might add a drabble or two to my own pile and, if you allow, put in a link to this?) Weather aches... heat wave on the way, here. Looking forward to the weather aches of the cooling down again. | |

| Oh, I loved all of them!! My favourites (besides all of them) were the one of Merry tucking Pippin into bed and the last one, where Merry rubbed salve into his beloved cousin's knee. Brilliant stories -- I'm sure there's more from where these came from. ;-) | |
