Our Last Journey  by PipMer 2 Review(s)

I love the way the Elves called the aged Merry and Pippin "young sirs". :)

And I think the choice of "Iorhael" for Eldarion's son was just inspired. "Frodo Lives!", indeed!

It is a complicated business, saying goodbye....

Author Reply: Yes, especially for a final goodbye. It has to be heartwrenching, and I look forward to how you continue the goodbyes in your story. I'm sure I'll be crying!

Can you imagine being 102 years old and being called a 'young sir'? LOL! Although, to an Elf that would be young.

Thank you for the compliment on the name for Eldarion's son. It just seemed to fit so well, Frodo being the savior of middle earth and all. Frodo will never be forgotten!

How wonderful you have Eldarion name his son after Frodo. I have Faramir and Goldilocks Took doing that, as well as Frodo Gardner, Freddy Bolger and Melilot, and Brendy and Narcissa.

Author Reply: Thank you, Larner! It struck me that the Elvish name would fit very well for the heir to the throne of Gondor.
