Pub Guide  by Edoraslass 5 Review(s)
LarnerReviewed Chapter: 2 on 6/7/2007
At last I can read this--my ISP from Mordor kept me from doing so last time. A fascinating look at the city via its inns, and reminds me of visits to Banbury and finding my favorite bookstore there in a small, almost inaccessible court known as the White Lion Court, IIRC.

Hope to read more of these.

Author Reply: Glad you were able to get to this, and thanks so much! I've toyed with doing bits on other taverns - hopefully one day I'll manage it.

Definitely sounds like the kind of pub I'd be drawn to... especially to sit and write with a glass of ale in one hand and the gentle murmur of speech all around me.

The innkeepers are delightful - I will only frequent pubs who give the Stewards their due!

Author Reply: They're definitely loyalists - they'd certainly welcome you!

Thanks!

Sounds like a place that the locals feel at home in and royal or steward escapees from the citidal might find a quiet welcome and a blind eye turned.

Author Reply: Nice and quiet and tucked away - just the right kind of place.

Thank you!

You vividly brought the inn to life.
