| Oh, poor Estel! He's had a bit of a rough time in this story, hasn't he? I have been reading this story for several days straight, trying to get caught up, and I'm greatly looking forward to the next chapter. I do have one question, though. How long have they been back in Mirkwood? I thought it was only a day or two, but then the healer wouldn't have had time to travel to Lake Town, study with the human healers, and return to Mirkwood to tend Estel. Did I misread the length of time since their return? But I am really enjoying this story, and seeing Thranduil confuse all his people with his concern for Estel. :) Author Reply: Ah Misty, you have a quick eye, don't you? I did not really specify a set number of days, but rather used the action of Thedin's return to loosely give a time frame of "some" days pasting. I never thought I would be able to write Thranduil, but I am beginning to really like writing him. He is, quite frankly, fascinating! Thanks for your review! Hugs, Cindy | |
