For All the Gold In Harad  by Elendiari22 4 Review(s)

It's the way Seraphine graciously permits Eldarion to accompany her as she is doing her own thing. How can he resist? And, along the way, he learns far more than her realises. (I'll bet his parents are enjoying the joke of that!)

She admits she doesn't know things, too. And that she wants to discover more. A very untypical tutor!

Author Reply: I love the whole "she's not really teaching me because I'm having fun" aspect of their relationship. And yes, I do think that the royal parents are vastly amused by the whole thing. seraphine is turning out to be a very fun character to write.

Thanks for reading!

Another very enjoyable chapter. It seems Aragorn and Arwen are overturning the worse traditions of the past which is good.I love Eldarion's thirst for knowledge that his new tutor is kindling. I guess you are inspired by Caravaggio in your desciption of the artist?

Author Reply: Thank you! I've been reading several biographies this semester, and the court initiation rights for royal newborns in some is just horrifying, so I felt like addressing it. And yes, it is Caravaggio. Great artist, Caravaggio.

I'm glad you like it!

Caravaggio by any chance? I was lucky enough to catch an exhibition of his work in London last year. Wonderful and so lifelike. I wanted to step forward and push a bowl of fruit back onto the table before it fell off!

Author Reply: Yes, Caravaggio! I think his art is so wonderful. You are so lucky to have been able to go to an exhibition!

Caraviggio, I think. Love his John the Baptist.

Again, the prince's mind and experience are being stretched. Lovely day.

Author Reply: Yes! I'm taking an Art history class, and we just studied the John the Baptist painting, and wow. I am totally in love, and once again something from our world slips into Tolkien's. :)
