| How does one get over this? I can feel his anguish and helplessness. You've done such a good job in carrying his state of being over to your other stories. Poor Elladan! I’m glad that I’ve managed to show a little of what Elladan was going through at this time, and how it affected his behaviour in my later stories. | How horrid a thing to find, and reassuring that they have at least found her alive. And I see I'm joined in another who's chosen that title for a collection of stories. I learned it had been used several times on FFN. Author Reply: Actually, I wrote this one quite awhile ago and didn't plan to even post it here, but a couple more ideas for short snippets from Elladan's POV just sprang to my mind today. They will tie into the current story I'm writing, so I thought I would throw them together under one title and post them. I didn't give the title too much thought, but since it's already been used a few times, I've changed it. Thanks for reviewing, Larner. | |

| Poor twins. Poor Celebrian. And Elrond. Again his family is ripped apart - and yet, one way or another, they all survived. And healed. After a fashion. Author Reply: They did all heal, but despite Elladan's hope at the end, their family never was whole again, was it? The twins fate is a matter of debate, but we do know that at least Arwen never saw her mother again. It's so sad, and something that I see as a pivotal moment in all their lives.
