| I enjoyed watching the progression of Eomer and Lothiriel's feelings. I can't decide if they were just meant for each other all along and didn't know it, or the expectation that they would marry triggered an attraction that might not have been there otherwise. There are worse things, after all, than to have everyone expecting you to marry a gorgeous individual of the opposite sex! In any case, it worked. I also very much enjoyed the reference to Morwen and Thengel's courtship, since I feel I've gotten to know them through your other story. Author Reply: Ah, yes, poor Eomir, doomed to marry someone like Lothiriel... LOL. I think it was probably a mixture of already having decided he would marry her, and then meeting her and giving in to fate. And the fact that they're both such wonderful people anyways. :) Glad you liked the reference to Morwen and Thengel too--rather a blatant reference to my other story at the same time, but it seemed to fit. | Oh, how very wonderful. We're having a spate of Eomer/Lothiriel romances spring up, it seems, and I've enjoyed yours very much indeed. | Well! They are both prepared to do their duty - and willing to look at each other with open minds, so they deserve the reward they received in seeing in each other exactly what they needed. They will be happy - because they are both determined to make the other happy. Very sweet! Author Reply: I agree. ;) I like to think of Eomer, in particular (who always strikes me as being slightly grim) as falling head-over-heels in love with Lothiriel, and lightening up along the way. :) Thanks--I really appreciate your taking the time to review! | |
