Flotsam and Jetsam  by Rowan 5 Review(s)

Alas, those poor, abused toes! I want to kiss them and make them better, and that worries me. Am I being unfaithful to my Aragorn? Heh!

But it is the thought of how much he realizes he's missed these days seventeen years later that moves me most, I think.

Author Reply: I bet during the quest Frodo wished all he had to worry about was spring cleaning.

I agree - work is no fun when you could be reading or writing but it must be done and I do set aside time for it. And the last time you do something with someone - and the first time - are special times. What a blessing those two were to each other.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Indeed! (Sorry for the delay replying, and then the terse response! Been busy.)

The request was for fluff? Well ... dust-bunnies ... fluff.... It seems to me that you were successful! ;-)

Author Reply: I think actually it was for Frodo and Bilbo spring-cleaning, which I thought should yield fluffy results. Turns out the only fluff *was* the dust bunnies.

Most dear tale... though poor Frodo has already started his suffering, huh, with books on his toes. *supresses a small giggle*

Author Reply: Guess that'll be the least of his worries!

Aww. Well done. Good description, as if you had all the words in the world to use (I almost forgot I was reading a drabble); poignant and thoughtful conclusion.
