| I love the way Merry entertains Pippin and the story about the wolf is very interesting and filled with a sad sort of magic. It is a bit like a Greek Tragedy. I enjoyed it. Author Reply: Thank you! Being very honest, I was very much inspired by the Greek tragedies we've been translating the past years. They're very interesting and beautiful. If it weren't for all the grammar we have to study, I'd certainly keep taking the classes! ^_^; | |

| Well, to tell you my opinion about this nice little story I'm simply quoting Pippin. “It was very sad,” he said, “and I’m really sorry for the wolf and the princess. But it was still beautiful.” That's it, exactly :) I also loved it that Merry at first was a little annoyed because Pippin thought that only Bilbo and Frodo could tell a real good story, but did admit that Pippin was right. I think, Merry has just proven that he *is* a good storyteller - and I'm sure Pippin will agree with me :) Thank you! Author Reply: Oh, that's so sweet! | i really liked that, not only the fact that it was merry and pippin but i auctually liked the little story that merry told. i thought i was quite sad but beautiful.in a scence. i dont think i've met a kid who could sit through a story as long as pippin can Author Reply: When they were younger, my little brothers could listen to stories for ages and ages :D But I think that is indeed rare for kids of that age.
